WWIMD is result of the collaboration of two artists, Ivan Twohig and Martin De Bie.
Martin De Bie Born in Paris. Graduated in 2008 from the ESADSE (Design Masters), I entered the EnsADlab research department of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 2009. During this period, I started to collaborate with the french branch of the Graffiti Research Lab and began to develop an experimental approach to design, combining interaction technologies with avant-garde urban socio-cultural practices. I also co-founded an hackerspace specialised in e-Textile, DataPaulette. I share my time between teaching physical computing and interaction design, at ENSAD and Parsons Paris, personal research on hybrid materials (intertwining traditional techniques with high-tech processes) and GRL[fr] projects. I live and work in Paris. http://www.martindebie.com/
Ivan Twohig Born in Ireland. Graduated in 2008 from NCAD Ireland (Masters Art in the Digital World). I am an artist, designer, educator, and consultant. My work explores the disruptive areas at the convergence of fine art, technology, pop-culture and critical theory. My artworks have been exhibited as part of the St. Etienne Design Biennale in 2008 in France and the Fenomen IKEA exhibition at MKG in Hamburg Germany in 2009. My artwork has been included in publications in Ireland, Germany and China. In 2012 I worked with Science Gallery Dublin and Trinity College to set up the Makeshop. Alongside my art practice since 2013 I have been Director of Technology at Parsons Paris. http://ivantwohig.com/
